Really, Doctor. When have you ever heard an adult Cardassian call another by their given name? I would hazard a guess as to the number being once, on a certain Cardassian's deathbed. Must I spell everything out?

I've really only interacted with Cardassian military in more formal environments--it's hardly abnormal for military to address each other by family name.
Humans use their given names all the time with friends.

My deepest apologies. I forgot that humans were the standard by which all species were measured. Of course we use given names at the same rate as humans do! And Ferengi!

Well, unlike you and unlike Klingons, I am quite happy to have idle hands in this situation as it means my services aren't needed.

How fortuitous that the vigilante team is already calling themselves the hero team. That will clear up all of the messy confusion when people wind up hurt - obviously the vigilante group cannot be in the wrong because they're the hero team! Any innocent bystanders who get hurt become, by default, obstructions at best.
The Dominion should have adopted that strategy. Earth would have been the one to welcome them in instead of Cardassia.

It seems like there's many mixed messages in there.
On the one hand, having a safe space to train in combat and learn more about our powers is important. But to then extrapolate to vigilantism? It sounds like they want to play super hero.
Then again, we're new here. We don't know that much about method of law-enforcement, the justice system...perhaps they're ineffective enough to warrant more oversight of ourselves.

Oh, I see no issues with the training. If the general populous is likely to fear us, then we may need to be able to protect ourselves. The reactions to my appearance make that quite clear.

If I could have given him mine and dealt with Clarke at the same time, I would have. Timing was not on our side.

Can nightblood be transferred like that without study? Normal human blood needs to be looked at to determine if the recipient is allergic to another person's blood. Not to mention I don't want to have to bleed one of you dry if someone else gets hurt.

Yes I know that Bellamy does now, it was a surprise to the three of us.
I do not know the answer to that. It was never an option with my people. If the Commander bled out, they bled out. We didn't take blood from other Nightbloods. Clarke's mother is a doctor and she came up with how to make Nightbloods through science. I think it unlikely giving us red blood would be very helpful.
