How fortuitous that the vigilante team is already calling themselves the hero team. That will clear up all of the messy confusion when people wind up hurt - obviously the vigilante group cannot be in the wrong because they're the hero team! Any innocent bystanders who get hurt become, by default, obstructions at best.
The Dominion should have adopted that strategy. Earth would have been the one to welcome them in instead of Cardassia.
It seems like there's many mixed messages in there.
On the one hand, having a safe space to train in combat and learn more about our powers is important. But to then extrapolate to vigilantism? It sounds like they want to play super hero.
Then again, we're new here. We don't know that much about method of law-enforcement, the justice system...perhaps they're ineffective enough to warrant more oversight of ourselves.
Oh, I see no issues with the training. If the general populous is likely to fear us, then we may need to be able to protect ourselves. The reactions to my appearance make that quite clear.
It's the other I'm speaking about. Playing the vigilante but calling it a hero team means they're not precisely setting up to right simple wrongs. They want glory.
Thank you for helping save Murphy's life during the crisis. Clarke was very concerned and it reassured her to have him in your hands. But I expect you saw his blood.
[Just another day at his job really. Although it wouldn't matter what time it was or what day it was; Julian could never resist helping someone that needed it.]
I did. Quite a bit of it too. I'm now even more concerned about not having blood on hand if any of you three needed it.
[ Julian walks into Red Wings, noticing how different it looks since last he was in here when it was a makeshift infirmary during the attacks. He spots Eugene and waves as he comes over to sit across the table.]
[And angering people sometimes accidentally along the way. Just as she goes.]
We were close in there. At least once. I'm sorry for the way that version of myself treated you. It might seem like a thing to write off, but I'm not comfortable doing so. That was still a reflection of who I am.
It's any chemical that your neurons release in order to communicate with other neurons. They're the molecular constituents of your thoughts and...anything you do, really.
I've been looking into the golden-eyed animals and I asked this biologist if the rage sickness had any reason to affect emotions instead of an immune response and they said there is a "post-effect of certain neurotransmitter responses".

[He knows better than to really mean it--Garak is the most careful person he knows. It's...more for himself if he's honest.]
I'm not so sure I would push it that far to think they want glory...More just horribly misguided.
